Aquarium Stralsund

Located in the area of formed freight docks adjacent to the city center of the former Hanse- town the Aquarium was to set a marker for the reviving touristic interest.
A rather bold outside in the scale of neighboring warehouses reveals a fantastic inner 2-level space with free-formed aquaria of different sizes arranged around the central seal island open to the sky.
